Tracey B. Eubanks Griffin
Attorney at Law
My name is Tracey Eubanks and I am a trial attorney; specifically, a criminal defense trial attorney. I am an experienced litigator with over 60 trials under my belt. I am a true believer in fighting for anyone who is accused of a crime.
After being a public defender for over 11 years, I decided to enter the arena of private practice. During those 11 years as a public defender, I was given the opportunity to defend those who would not otherwise be able to afford counsel and those accused of the most serious of crimes. I practiced in both El Paso and Fremont counties. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the public defender’s office and my years working in public service.
Now that I am in private practice, I am able to bring my experience and know how to clients who too are faced with criminal charges that have devastating consequences. In my experience, I have found that there is no case that is too small or too large for an experienced criminal defense attorney, such as myself, to handle. I have handled thousands of criminal cases. I have represented individuals accused of low level misdemeanor crimes to clients accused of first degree murder. No matter what the charge, I represent all of my clients vigorously. All of my clients know that they have someone on their side, fighting for their rights, against all sorts of adversity.
I have an absolute passion for the law. I always knew that I was going to be an attorney. I was born in New York and moved to Colorado at a very young age. I grew up just north of Denver in a town called Broomfield. I come from a family of teachers, lawyers and judges. In 1993, I completed my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Unable to stay away, I returned to the Denver area to pursue my passion. I was accepted to The University of Denver Law School and graduated in 1999. I was hired by the public defender’s office before I had even graduated. I began trying criminal cases under the Student Practice Act even before I had been officially accepted into Colorado’s Bar. I have never looked back.
I have now been living in Colorado Springs for almost 15 years. I have been married for almost 13 years and I have two small children. I have a son who is age 9 and a daughter who is 5. I couldn’t think of a better community to live in and raise my children.
The Griffin Law Firm is representative of both my commitment to community and family. My husband established The Griffin Law Firm in 2003. I have taken it over in 2011. But together we want to ensure that every client who passes through our door receives the utmost in experienced, professional, and personal representation.
